Cordial by Sarah Hatton in Rowan Magazine 50
This is a cute little jacket knit with bulky yarn on US15!! Quick ;-) There are about 5 of us getting started.This is the first time doing cables for several of the ladies so it is a lot of fun.
I am knitting it in Rowan Drift color #909 Windy. It is going smoothly - it is a nice moss stitch and cable pattern.
Rowan Cocoon Sweater
We are bringing in the New Year knitting with Cocoon!!Yummy soft and knits quickly on 10 1/2 needles! The pattern is Kari by Sarah Halton. Linda is knitting in Polar, Stephanie in Seascape, Mary in Cloud, Linda in Lavender and myself in Kiwi. No yarn substituions in the group - who could resist knitting with Rowan Cocoon ;-) It was hard to pick a color - there are so many nice colors!!
Pretty straight forward pattern - raglan sleeves. I have the back complete and am half way up the front.
1/15 Nice knitting day at the shop!! A big group, we were joined by Lucie and Patty from Tahoe City and Debbie a newcomer to Reno that met Lucie on a plane!! I just love how random knitters get connected ;-) Debbie is joining in on the project, knitting the sweater in Noro Taiyo! Beautiful colorway. I managed to get my sleeves started amongst all the activity and we all agree Rowan Cocoon is a pleasure to work with.
Dahlia Cardigan
Started the Dahlia Cardigan out of the Interweave Knits Fall/Winter magazine - design by Heather Zoppetti. This beautiful lace panel is knit in the round and adorns the back of the cardigan. I am knitting with MadelineTosh Tosh Pashmina which is scrumptious!! Interesting construction. I have been a bit distracted from it as I am knitting up gifts ;-0
Finished Holiday knitting! Am squezzing this in between shop projects ;-) Have joined the right upper back, lace panel and lower back together. The sleeve is an after thought so I have the scarp yarn added in and am working on the right side.
Noro Men's Pullover
Men's Pullover out of the Noro Knits by Jane Ellison. Knitting up in Noro Kureyon blue/green/black combo! This is for a Christmas present and it is going smooth!
Added a bit in length on the front and back to customize the size.
I am now knitting the sleeves - two at a time. Just need a little more knitting time ;-) I am going add a little in arm length as well. Should be done soon.
Came out very nice!! Straight forward pattern easy to follow.
Fiber Trends Felted Clogs
Great fun!! It was an adventure getting started - a room full of ladies counting and talking at once!!
10/22 These are quick knits and will make great gifts. Just finished felting my second pair!
Top Down Bulky Sweater

I am knitting using Ella Rae Classic Superwash Chunky. Fun quick knit!! I knit the sweater for Tim and I think it will be a nice sweater for the foggy mornings on the farm.

4/29 Getting started, I am using the light purple "Prairie" and am on US8 needles!

3/26 Things are moving along. I have the back and front complete and am now knitting both sleeves at the same time. Love the stitch pattern.
Ella Rae SandArt Vest
By popular demand - a little vest out of the Ella Rae SandArt booklet. I fun variegated worsted weight yarn. 2/6 Got started - there are six of us doing the little vest! Hope to have pictures soon! It will be fun to see all the different colors knit up!!Moving right along, easy rib pattern!Knitting the button band and should be wearing it to the shop Wednesday!
